Richie Schembechler

Richie was born and raised in Massillon, OH. After graduating from Massillon Washington High School, he attended Malone University in Canton, OH on a golf scholarship where he earned a BBA degree. He moved to the Memphis area in 2015.

After college, Richie played golf professionally on various tours around the world. His golf career was highlighted by playing in the 2016 USGA U.S Open at Oakmont Country Club and the 2017 FedEx St. Jude Invitational at TPC Southwind.

After retiring from golf, he wanted to find ways to serve and help others. After much contemplation, he decided to pursue a career in the financial services industry. Richie started as a financial advisor in 2020 then joined the IPG team as a financial planner in 2023.  

Richie is married to Emily and has two children: Vesper and Oliver. If he is not in the office, you can usually find him with his family, golfing, traveling, or cooking.
